You are not what you own.

You are what you create.

Hello. My name is Jordan Michael Lopez. I currently reside in the suburbs of LA County in a city called Whittier - a place known for one of the largest cemeteries in the western hemisphere and for affordable shooting locations for the film industry. I work almost exclusively with analog equipment, but I have delved into digital images. In fact, some of those digital photos are posted here  on my site, but my main love is good ol' light sensitive silver halide (aka film). My fondness for the medium stems from admiration for film directors and photographers of the past and present who use(d) it to achieve their specific visions. We all live by the ticking of the clock. As such sometimes we have to let go of things for the sake of time, but printed film should never be one such thing.

If you like what you see in my gallery, thank you. Even if you don't like my work, thank you for giving away some ticking of the clock to take a look at my work, and if for some reason you didn't like my work, but yet you are reading this, thank you thank you . I have put a lot of  thought and effort into making the most out of what little I have made thus far, and I look forward to thinking more and working even harder to make more in the future.

If you are a fellow artist and would like to collaborate on anything, or if you are interested in my services, or if you just want to talk, please feel free to contact me via email or DM me on Instagram. Take care and have a happy and healthy remainder of your day.
